It’s a bigger threat to the world than terrorism according to some health experts. Bacteria are becoming resistant to antibiotics at an accelerating pace. And that means that simple illnesses and surgeries could again end deadly – a step back into the dark age of medicine. There are two parts to the problem: We are currently using too much antibiotics – unnecessarily. And we’re not inventing new drugs fast enough.
