What is CO-ADD?
CO-ADD reaches out to chemists who have compounds ‘sitting on shelves’ that were not designed as antibiotics and would not otherwise be screened for antimicrobial activity.
Screening
Compound libraries are screened at no cost against a key panel of susceptible and drug-resistant bacterial, and fungal pathogens.
The threat of antibiotic-resistant bacteria continues to rise, but the number of new treatments available has flatlined.
This has placed us dangerously close to a return to the pre-antibiotic era, when even simple infections caused death.
Now it's time to act.
